Looks pretty good, odd but looks good. The Black carpet will make it or break it.

Dang these all look stellar, FSU's tops all though. Wish I had the $$ to make my interior look like these.

sfgsdfg999, did you paint your dash. If so did you leave it place. I would like to paint mine but don't want to remove it

Pulling the dash is actually fairly easy -- much easier than I expected based on others' accounts -- but removing it entirely isn't much fun because of how the wiring harness fastens to the back of it. But, I'm thinking there's sufficient slack to pull it forward enough to mask off surrounding areas for painting.

I didn't pull it all the way out, just enough to get the window taped off and surrounding all covered. I had to rebound the paint off the paper to get a good coat (SEM) into the def vents. The wood trim I totally removed.

How did you avoid painting over the lettering of switches and etc?

This thread makes me really want to attempt painting my dash black. There are so many nice interiors in here.

Seeing this thread really makes me want to finish my black and tan conversion. I used to have all of the parts except for a black air bag and the front window trim, but I sold them all a few years ago. I'll talk to my friend and see if he can help me take the dash out.

Your interior looks amazing! Where did you get that climate control from? I've seen it in another SC but forgot where to find them.

Looking good guys. Besides replacing my seats I don't think I'm going to touch my interior at all. Or at least until I run out of things to do I guess.

I got bored with the black on black on my 1997 SC300 5 speed so converted it to Tan and Black Combination but with Black Carpet . Better for me than black on black since there is more contrast. Besides I already have a full black interior on my Red Mamba Two. Oh I just noticed it now , need to change over those seat belt buckle to black.
