Let us know how it goes. My front end is all brand new as well! The oldest thing for me is the upper control arms which I replaced a few years back. I inspected everything and couldn't find anything out of place or loose and it drives great. I don't hear anything when I hit a pothole and I just haven't had the time to look any further. I thought it was the endlinks because I've cheaped out on them and it could have failed prematurely. The shocks, well, are KYBs and another wear item

FFFFFFFF MEEEEEEEEEE, I replaced the upper control arms and double checked all the sub-frame bolts and still knocking. Only thing it could be now is a bad, new part I've installed or a tranny mount but I really doubt that. It seems like its less often though. Really only happens when its at full lock and its ONLY on the driver side. grrr

I'm pretty sure that the culprits are those sub-frame bolts. You should take them off, add some wd40, a lift on the crossmember and then go hard on them. Mine required a special nut (a deeper one) as the one that came with the tool set didn´t help once certain turns were done.

I just looked at. 95 sc400. I heard this clunking noise. I jacked it up but didn't see any bad mounts. Is there a carrier for the drive shaft that could have ripped rubber causing the driveshaft to make noise?

i have a clunking as well, i'm already on coilovers and PO said he did supra control arms, but i think he only did upper cz the lowers look pretty meh. what's the best way to check the bushings without removing? i only have a clunk when the car is going slowly over small bumps and sways side to side a lot. i had a loud pop clunk in the rear which was a sway bar end link, so i'm gonna check those first, then sway bar bushings. i always start with the cheap stuff.
