Hello all,
I have been wanting a renaissance red sc400 with black interior for about 2 years now, and have been searching aggressively in the past 8 months. I am located in arizona and it seems that majority of renaissance red and black interior combos were primarily offered on eastcoast. Of the 7/8 sc400 carfax that I have checked in the past few months they all originated from east. With that said, I am onto 1 from the east and would like the owner to send me proof of all the original vin tags, but since I don't know where they are I couldn't even tell if the owner will be leaving a damaged panel out or not( last car that i was lpoking into, the owner said 1 dpor sidea didnt have 1, bUT was sure that the car was original). Also if the owner isn't much of a car person, he may not know where they are and ask me to tell him the locations. So that is why I am wondering where all the vin tags are located. Wish I could help more, the only ones I know of are on the fenders under the hood right in the middle, very obvious. There should also be one in each door jam, on the hood and the trunk lid.
