I need a good running sc400 to try out my ecu in to check to see if it's functioning properly LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY area will travel if need be... process of elimination is getting very expensive

Yes that's exactly what I'm trying to do, not buy anything I did a capacitor repair seemed to make the car a little better but still backfiring like crazy (timing is dead on aswell)

A little more info on your situation and condition would be helpful in diagnosing the problems...
I don't know the condition or story on your car, but backfire (firing back up through the intake) is usually caused by cam timing or wiped cams...
I know you said your timing was dead on, but that's where I would double, triple check first.
