Anyone paint theirs yet? I mean, obviously it fits but how good does it look painted? Would like to see on a light color like white or grey to assess gaps, and other imperfections if any.

I believe this is the only customer to have it painted so far.

Here ya' go in your color. My hood line is off but it has been for 3 bumper changes. Support must be bent. Otherwise it looks great.

The installation/paint was free so the job was not meticulous but totally adequate.
The installer had no complaints about fitment and rejected the installation directions posted earlier in the thread.

Looks great....

Were you able to avoid extra holes for the license plate mount with some "clever" technique?

I hope not to ever have to run with a plate (as has been the case for over 24 years with this car in Cali) but it is more a matter of time (or luck) before that arises.....

Plate ticket is a fix it, What I did when i got my ticket is used really cheap double sided tape. I drove to the Sheriff's station and got it signed off. The only comment he made was that I shouldn't put decals on the plate ( I had Zeitronix, SSCA, and Road Race Engineering decals surrounding the plate numbers.) . I took the plate off the same weekend with zero paint damage, and never had an issue afterwards. Total cost was 27.15 including the ticket fee.

You guys need to take a look at my thread. I posted what to do about the front plate and it's easy. It's called a Sto-n-Show.

********* Part number I used is Summit Racing BMP-SNS57 **********

question, how does the inner fender splash guard line up after the bumper is on, any photos?
Im guessing that it doesn't look factory and the bumper hangs lower?

Yes, I had seen your thread before and saw the suction cup model that you appeared to have replaced with the Sto-n-Show. Do you recall exactly which one you went with for our cars as it appears there are several configurations depicted now???

Amazon has them now but there is not one mapped to fit an SC 300/400...... Thanks, Shane, in advance.....

Thats an easy fix bro. The top bracket (where the top part of the bumper bolts to the car) just needs to be pulled "up" a little on the drivers side. If I recall correctly, there are 6 phillips head screws holding it onto the brace/support. You may be able to do it without even taking those out (the tend to get rusty since water settles there under the rubber covering.

Good luck!

Looking good, I just got my front bumper installed last night no fitment issues. It has been raining so no quality pic as yet. Thanks again for doing this in poly as my shine fiberglass bumper cracked in two places. I have to look into getting the poly rears and side to replace my fiberglass units.
