Default Tein SS VS CXRacing Coilovers

Anyone have anything to bash one over the other?

I've seen a lot of people that seem to be happy with both, however seems like quite a few guys just want #hellaslammed and aren't to worried about the performance aspects of the CX Coils.

Any input would be appreciated.

My car is a 1jz swapped SC300, end goal is a street "beast", with the occasional track use.

Thanks guys,
Z

I don't have Tein SS, but I ordered a set of Tein Flex Z and couldn't be happier with them. From what I've seen the CXRacing Coils are nice,, but for the money I decided to go with the Flex Z. They ride amazing and offer a ton of adjustability and can be had for less than $700 new. Again, I know this is not one of the 2 options you asked about but in my opinion it compares better to the CXRACING than the SS.

CX is made by BC, just different materials. I have had CX on my IS300 and now SC. Pleased with ride quality for the price I got it for. ($600)

This is a perfect question. I am between the pillow ball CXRacing or the Tein Flex. I have been all over Supraforums, Toyota Nation and here and from what I can tell they are equally a good buy for the money. The Tein's are non-rebuildable but they will last 50-60k so, there's that. CXRacing is a new brand so maybe there wasn't so much R&D? I'd say its a coin toss.
