I sent my ECU to Driftmotion to be repaired, the idiots at the postal service seem to have lost it. So I need to run my other SC (donor car is a 93 M/T the receiver is 92 M/T). When I put it in the car, it just spins and won't start. Is there something you have to do to fool it to get it to work in the new car? The 92 was running fine when I pulled it to send to DM. All I have done is pull the ECU 2 weeks ago, not tried anything until I put the ECU in from the 93.

I got nothing... I've swapped ECUs a few times now and didn't have to do anything other than stick the key in and go. I can't imagine what would be incompatible between your two. Low battery from sitting for 2 weeks, maybe?

Well problem solved. Apparently as I was crawling around inside painting the roll cage I pulled the plug out on the fuel pump ecu. Plugged it in and she runs like normal. I have gotta do away with that thing anyway, maybe this weekend.
