I've seen many people get great luck and looks with plasti-dip too. But who knows, maybe you're into gold and were all just being picky lol

Replacing the exhaust mufflers with Magnaflows and stainless or chrome tips that fill up the cut outs is a good mod as well.

Yup, they're really gold. I believe it was a dealer option.

Don't wanna seem like I'm parroting but...

Start with exhaust and intake mods.. and then manual swap.

I'm right in the middle of procuring all the parts needed to do a w58 manual swap, and I'm a driveshaft and shift **** away from being done, but the driveshaft has proven to be very elusive.. I just spotted a good deal on one but I literally just busted the last of my cash for the week on the w58 itself so it looks like I'll have to hold off hunting again until next week and once I hit 30 posts, put up an ad in the classifieds here. Also, if you do decide to do a manual swap a good little tip is to use a s13 clutch assembly and master cylinder, they're dirt cheap and everywhere, beats paying hundreds for the clutch assembly/master cylinder for a sc300, that's for sure. There's a write up on it here, if you're interested. Just a heads up though, if you plan on pushing more than 350hp, I'd recommend looking into a ka24 trans swap (Again, a couple of writeups here and a similar one but with a 350z 6spd here). I've heard alot of success stories with them.. and there's a high chance it'd even be cheaper because ka24s are abundant as can be and securing a ka24 driveshaft is painfully easy and you just need the bellhouse adapter plate and a custom driveshaft to diff adapter made to make it bolt up, as opposed to having to hunt down a mk3/sc300 front driveshaft or have a custom 1pc made.

It looks in great shape I would do a CD009 350Z Transmission swap for sure! I wouldn't do anything else because the car is stock already, so stock SC manual swap will be worth more money! Do the CD009 swap and change your dif to match and youre golden. Don't listen to anybody doing performance mods you will be alot happier with a stick V8!!!

Looks good! I would lower the car with springs or coilovers ASAP. Also, a good cheap mod to do is remove the resonators. Any local muffler shop can do this for you and the sound is priceless. Not too loud, not too quiet, just right in the middle. It really opens up the sound of the V8 1uz engine with a throaty roar especially on a cold start
