In the process of refurbishing my interior, I pulled the steering wheel out of the car and noticed a 2 pin plug that was not connected to anything. Anyone know what it's used for? Only thing I can guess is that the same steering wheel was used in other models that had controls. Anyway, here's a couple of pics.

The plug is in the center of the photo, on the left side of the steering wheel.




The black and green wires are from the plug.

I think that's where the optional phone controls go.

Yeah I noticed this plug too when replacing my wheel, would be nice to know exactly what it was for.. If it is for the phone controls, that would make sense.

I had the phone controls at one point and I recall that being what they fit.
