I have an window problem the window goes down but will not go up unless you push the glass up. I can hear the motor running. I took the car to a friend who owns an upholstry shop and he pulled the door panel off. There is still not too much you can see. He told me to try to get a diagram of the inside of the door, (motor.tracks. cables etc.) and he felt he would be able to fix it. I called the local Lexus dealer and when I asked for it he told me "We run a repair center, not a training school". so I got no help there. If anyone on the board could put up a detailed picture or diagram or tell me where to get one it would be a huge help in getting my window fixed. My friend is reluctant to start pulling things apart without getting some idea what is involved. Thanks for any help or advice you can give me.

try and order one of those service mauals on cd, or get a real set of service manuals.

Yea, most of them are like that..pretty mean when you ask about a specific question...

I asked my local Lexus dealer about converting my SC fog lights to GS400 yellow fog lights...He told me to get the bulbs from a GS400 and then I asked how do I take the bulb out of the foglight myself...Then, he hung up on me...

ken, you should call carson toyota and order a set of factory manuals for your car - for about the cost of 2 hours' labor at the dealer - you will never, never be sorry you spent the $ - I keep mine in the bathroom where I can study them in detail
