v8 emblems?
#16
uh....
I put the V8 emblem on because it looks VERY sharp... an added bonus is the respect i get from people who see the car and the heads it turns. Please realize where I come from noone has ANY idea any japanese car has ever had a V8, in fact, I dont think anyone here has any idea that lexus is a part of toyota! I would not put a 4.0 GT emblem on because my SC400 was not built a Soarer 4.0 GT.... the only possible way to work that one out is to carve off the GT and just have it say 4.0 V8, which I cant see the reason why to do that either because 4 liters of displacement is not all that impressive. What is impressive is how advanced the engine itself is, and the fact that its a japanese luxury sports coupe equipped with a V8. Even the Cadillac northstar isnt all that impressive in the displacement area... notice the emblem on theirs say "Northstar 32v V8" and not "Northstar 4.6" or whatever.
Putting a matchign emblem with your engine type and/or actual displacement is not rice because it is true, and you do have it. If I were to put a supercharged emblem on, that would be rice because I dont have one, nor do I plan to install one at all. Ive seen Honda guys put a Vtec sticker on their side panels, even when they have a non-vtec engine. Thats the ultimate rice.
