Default How to FIX/paint door module

Anyone know what I should do to this to get it looking right? Just stain it with a matching wood grain from home depot?

Wouldn't it be easier to just peel off the rest of the wood (it looks like it can be done)? Unless you wanted to retain the wood finish, in which I don't think it would look correct since it is missing in areas.

If you really want to keep the vinyl design, you could maybe find some wood grain vinyl wrap. Not sure it will match the other side though but you could probably find something close. It may also actually be cheaper to look for a used part on eBay or a wrecking yard instead.

Is that even original or an aftermarket applique? I'd most certainly peel that off and never look back.
