2jzgte vvti swap NEED HELP!
I have been scouring the Internet for the last couple of months and can't seem to find an answer, so perhaps someone here can help me!
For starters, I'm in the middle of doing a 2jzgte vvti swap into my 1992 Toyota Soarer. The car is a factory manual and I'm installing an jzs161 aristo jz with an auto harness and ecu. I've wired the harness into the factory Soarer body harness connector beside the battery. I have power to all the relays. But the car won't turn over, the starter motor won't Engage. I know it's because I haven't jumped the transmission connector but I don't what pins im supposed to jump. I've read a few threads saying that the p1 connector is what I'm looking for but I don't seem to have this connector on my harness I have 3 connectors from the transmission side of the harness
1 small black round connector with 2 wires going into it
1 large black 10pin connector
1 large grey 10pin connector
But that's it. Maybe I have a newer harness or something, or maybe just an updated connectorI know that the harness hasn't been cut as I pulled the swap from a running aristo maybe someone can shed a bit of light on this problem I would be extremely greatful!
