what i consider real mods are: fuilly built bottom block. upgrading the head, retainers, shafts, springs, caps, etc. and also upgrading the intake mainfoild, ie: skunk2 intake mainifolid, or ITB.
i have friends with fully built motors, with stock muffler, stock OEM intake box, and stock headers, and he's pushing low 13s.

from his site, they list bs mods that has no performace gain. maybe .1hp at the most.
unless he's running a piggy back fuel management system, and a boost controller with a/f ratio controller, then he can hit 13s all day.
but pushing too much boost on a stock bottom end, you'll blow the motor, just like that 400hp eclipse GSX on that link i posted.
he was pushing 18psi, low 12sec car, and blew this motor bad..
see.. dont expect to be all fast with a stock motor, if you build it from bottom up, and do the other little modifications, then thats good.

. Moreover, the GSX cannot beat the old super that I have at 4psi of boost because supra produce too much torque compare to GSX .

Cheap cars eclipse are not cheap cars and do run good ,you drive a 7m supra not exactly a speed demon
i will get you a gsx or a gst to run any time
.88 Supra-JE Pistons, Total seal piston rings, T-04 turbo upgrade, Greddy Turbo Timer, HKS EVC, HKS 2.0mm MHG, Bosh BOV, K&N Air Filter with cool air mod, TT fuel pump, RPS-Stage 3 Clutch, 550CC injector +more.
