hey guys, my brother just finished working on a website devoted to my car. It was for one of his final projects for a class. its alright. nothing really special.
the cars under "friend's car" are really not modified, maybe from stock, but i just think its rice =\
i never consider intake/header/exhaust as a real modification.
that Del sol Skunk 2 cam gear =doesnt do jack, if you dont have cam shafts.
his car is a mid 17sec car
that GST doesnt run mid 14s, more like mid 15.
nothing above 14sec is fast

I agree about the rice part of the friends rides... they dont have money do work on lexus.

and i agree on the wording on the site.. its kinda gay, but thats how my brother talks...

i want to change that, but today was the first day taht it was actually up and working. and it was his project for school so i let him do what he wanted. ill change that when the site becomes mine. i thought id share.

NRG.... WTF...Man what are you doing??? My god could you be a little more harsh??? Let me see if I can correct a few of your short comings... 1st..Site is alot nicer than mine.. Seeing that I don't have one... (Lets see yours)... 2nd "I think its all rice" well he didn't say he even liked them, Hes just showing off his friends.. (Do you have any). 3rd "I don't consider Intake, Header, Exhaust real mods"...Well what do you consider "real" mods breast implants and body piercing?? For anyone who knows anything about anything, when dealing with "most" imports these are the 1st REAL mods you should do.. Its called getting it in and getting it out... To REAL tuners...4th "Skunk 2 cam gears don't do jack" I really can't tell u if theydo"Jack" or not I can't say I have ever met Jack so I can't really tell anyone who or what he is doing... But I know there is HP to be had with Cam gears.. I have gotten 8 WHP on a SOHC (D16) and like 12 on DOHC (B18C1) honda motors on the dyno... 5th your right cam gears can still help if you have cams BUT not ONLY if you have cams..However most cam companys design there cams to work in a certain configuration... And with that being said they work best in that configuration which means they are ground with the desired amount of cam timing already factored in... So they need to be installed straight up.. Which means with "alot" of cams NO Adjustable cam gears are needed.. So that means they may still work best on Stock Cams..6th Del sol 17 second car (with mods)... That would mean you are a really bad driver... SOHC Vtec cars should be a highhigh 15 second car...GST mid 15s... GST equals front wheel drive turbo eclipse... Thats a 13 second ride for under agrand (Boost Controller, Intake, DP and Exhaust).Crap a low low 13 second time slip with agood driver..By the way no car above 14 seconds is fast??? What does that 400 you have run??? ABOVE 14 Seconds sweet heart.. 14.01 is above 14 seconds... You know real car "people" can look at a car that is 100% different than anything they would everdo and appreciate the car for all the work and time thats been invested.Posers and Punks hate...Now I think you need to take a moment, go into your living room and punch your mom in the mouth for never giving you the "if you don't have anything nice to say" speech... Come back and tell Kevin (lexcoupe) your sorry and the little monster under your bed made you write such crappy things.... By the way please excuse all the run ons and *****ty spelling... everything i said was my opinion, i though he wanted it.
i've been working with cars since i was 9, working with my dad in his shop.
and i think i know enough about cars to talk.
i really dont know where you live, but out here in southern california, anything above 14sec is consider slow.
i have a handful of friends with cars from 10-13secs.
fully built motors, B20/vtec, LS/vtec, built b16, all kind of built B and K series motors for honda.
their are alot of eclipse out here, with the same mod listed on that site, and they are all slow, i have never seen a fast one, not even on the track.
people always tell me that D series motors have potential, but i dont know what they're talking about.
even a fully built D16 with turbo gets spank by a b16 full motor.
i never said my sc400 was fast, its fully stock, and i plan to keep it that way, if it was a sc300, i would've swap it out already. i was thinking about swaping in 2jz on my car, but i found out would've been a big job on the wiring.
i really dont see a reason to get cam geras on a stock cam shaft, their's hardly any room to play with the adjustments.
what i consider real mods are: fuilly built bottom block. upgrading the head, retainers, shafts, springs, caps, etc. and also upgrading the intake mainfoild, ie: skunk2 intake mainifolid, or ITB.
i have friends with fully built motors, with stock muffler, stock OEM intake box, and stock headers, and he's pushing low 13s.

I don't understand how you have never seen a fast DSM but whatever... Im from Ga, and yes it is a different world here compared to Cali...Cali rules the car seen... I have been there alot..Comparing back grounds though I have also been to Sema for the last 3 years.. Been in mags (HCI 2002, Nopi Street 2002, Turbo(name and shop mentioned may 2001), ect..), my X-shop was a feature shop back in the day... A car I built is now the K&N ad car (1998 4 door accord, silver, H22 swap), My personal civic was going to be the HP racing show car (but sold it and bought my Lex).. Also another WRX I had my hands in has been in about 50 mags and featured on some show (can't remember the show right off hand)(can be seen in Auto Sound and Security August 2002 page35) In this magazine it is silver with ghost flames now its house of color orange... ETC...ETC.... The current civic I am working on might be considered "built" to you.. B20, Eagle telescopic sleeves, JE pistons, Pauter Rods, Polished crank, Radius valve job on head with crower cams and valve spring, Victor X polished intake (running 4 stock injectors and 4 440 DSM injectors through a turbo specialist secondary injector drive)..GT28 ball bearing turbo (18PSI) and 50 HP NOS kit..Plus all the usual crap AEM this AEM that and a Thermal R&D 3 inch cat back..The list goes on onthis car.. Want pics?? Anyway not bragging or anything just want to show I also know what I am talking about.. I didn't want to get into a pissing contest jus wanted everyone t stay polite..O yea by the way not sure if it is still there BUT if anyone wants to know what my butt looks like, It on the NOPI web site under car show pics from Reynolds Ga... anyways, they had SEMA here last weekend, i had vendor passes because my friends own shops, and i always get to go in free to all car shows. but this time i heard it wasnt worth going, not that many cars. plus i've seen the same cars from all the other shows.
my friends went to the SEMA show in vegas, they said it was great, wished i had time to go with them tho.

Nah I don't watch alot of "TV"... I watch alot of movies and stuff but never find myself in a situation that I can sit around and watch TV... I have to schedule in movies these days...I hav never even watched one episode of smallville.. Sorry... anyways Im about to check out the link you sent...
