Hey guys, thanks for looking. So the drivers side window regulator broke on me 2 weeks ago. So I ordered one up from Aliga. He sent one from a 1995, where my car is a 1993, top 2 holes don't line up. He said there are some write-ups on modifying his to work in my car. Has anyone done this?? Cutting off 1 bolt and re-drilling doesn't seem to be too difficult, however I saw where someone had issues with the window going all the way when using a different year regulator. Any assistance would be appreciated.

You're probably thinking of me (I haven't seen anyone else report it), but that was with a newer window on an older regulator; the opposite of your scenario. With that reversed, I imagine the main concern would be the window going down too far and adding undue wear and tear to the beltline molding when it reemerges. You could probably get around that by extending the bump stop at the bottom of the rail, though.
Quick update: I installed the regulator using the 3 bolts on the motor, lower, and upper left bolts as well. The upper right must be drilled in place (can't do outside of the car because the door and regulator need new holes, I tried). Extra bolt from parts bin (upper right factory needs to be cut off). Now all factory mounting points are secured. Greased up the channel, no issues with bump stops up or down.
Moral of the story: easy to modify a newer style regulator for an older SC.
