Default Are aluminum lug nuts safe?

Just ordered some aluminum lug nuts, was curious if they're safe for daily driving? I dont track at all and I don't drive super hard. Thanks!

They loosen up on their own after initial torquing. On the track we generally have to tighten them down after the brakes and tires heat cycle.

Should be fine for street use. Just tighten them down again one time a few days after installing them.

Make sure they are the same style on lug as your OEM bolts that have a ridge that actually secures the rim.. I ran some aluminum red lug nuts i thought were cool and my rear driver wheel fell off twice before i realized it was the lugs not the studs. They were like these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/go...KE8aAuvZ8P8HAQ.
YOU DON'T WANT THIS KIND ^^^^^

Don't use that kind if you ordered them return them or you'll have wheels falling off while driving. Heres an OEM one for comparison http://www.1aauto.com/wheel-nut/i/1a...VH8aAu088P8HAQ

^ The type of lug [shape] is specific to the type of wheel. If sticking with the OEM wheels, then yes, that would be correct.
