Question How to retract antenna mast

Anyone know how to retract the antenna, my amp is blown and it is stuck fully out.

Post Response help on Antenna!

If the motor is inoperative, you will not be able to retract the antenna mast.
What ever you do, DO NOT FORCE IT TO GO DOWN. you will bend or break the mast.
You will need to unscrew the mast trim nut at the fender and remove the unit from the
support bracket inside the Truck. At this point you will not be able to get the unit out of
the truck with the mast fully extended. but accessible to unscrew and release the magnetic
gear driven device on the unit to enable you to retract the mast manually. I will post pics for
a pictorial illustration.

Thanks for the advice, if the motor is still good, is there anyway to make it go down with power (meaning connecting certain wires to trick it) or it must be done as you mentioned. Andy

Anyone else have any other ideas how I can get my mast down without taking it apart. Thanks

Why do you not have power to the antenna? Is there a blown fuse?

My amp blew and everything is dead.
