When I was searching for my used Cluster it is sad to see how many SC have found their way to the Yards to rot. I saw a photo of a 1993 cluster with 79k miles at one site. I called. The guy said that photo was 2 yrs old when the car came to the yard. He went to get the Cluster, but it was damaged. The doors were gone and so was the windshield exposing everything to Mother Nature.
Today, if you are in an accident and have full coverage, your car will be totaled. No Insurance company is going to spend a Dime repairing your car. 49,000 SC built, how many still driven today?15-18,000?

What in the hell happens to some of these cars that some of them end up like this thing? Where did sht go wrong here? Do people just stop caring at some point or what?
That car looks like it was pulled out from a river bed and sat under water for ten years.

Impossible to know what happened but I wish we could know, too. She's literally a shell of what she once was. According to the ad, there is no motor in the car. An engine pulled from a wrecked SC was slated to go in her but it got dropped and the hit smashed the oil pan and broke the oil pump. Seller lost interest and advertised it @ $600 obo or trade for wheels. Selling "as is"... I guess that part is obvious. I fear she is doomed.
