IS300 Steering Wheel in SC400
How do I get the horn to work in my 92 SC400? I've read that I need an adapter but I haven't had any luck locating one.
I'm not exactly sure what year my IS steering wheel came out of. It also has an airbag inside, can I implement this into the SC400 airbag system some how?
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
skimmed a few pages and didn't have any luck here

It absolutely will work. I have an MR2 Spyder steering wheel in my car (same exact thing as the IS300 steering wheel but with different leather) with an IS airbag center. It has been a long time since I did it but I believe what I had to do was cut off the metal spade from the wire that would go into my original SC steering wheel and install a generic round terminal from Radio Shack onto the IS300/MR2 wheel. I either used a crimp connector or a soldered connection for that with heat shrink.
It's really quite easy as I recall and you could always retain the original SC400 spade connector for the horn if you wanted to reverse it to stock later.
For the airbag it is much more specific. You will need the airbag adapter part: 09082-00760. I got one from SPX Corp some years ago.
Unfortunately due to the recent Takata scandal this may not be something you can order from a dealer any longer in the USA. You'd have to try ebay, CL classifieds or an importer like Amayama.
...Unless someone knows an alternative that I am unaware of.

^^ That's it.
Also, I will note that as far as I have been able to tell, *NO* IS300, MR2 Spyder, Matrix XRS or 1998 Rav 4 or 1998 Supra airbag centers have been a part of the Takata airbag recall. The airbag adapter was meant for multiple applications with single-stage airbags and it just happens to suit this conversion for SC's. The widespread application with many other Toyotas and Lexus cars is why you probably can't order it directly from Toyota USA any longer. The above common shape three-spoke airbag centers are good just like the original SC300/400 airbag centers.
