Default Another One Bites the Dust!

The day has finally come. My 1995 SC400 was deemed a total loss and therefore, it is time to say goodbye.

This was my first car, purchased for 10k with 97k miles on the clock back in 2005. We've shared many, many great memories, canyon runs, cruises, races, track time, you name it. This car ran like a champ all the way to the end with 256k miles on the odometer. I even drove her out to Tucson on a 1,000 mile roundtrip with the A/C blowing the whole time earlier this year. She drove incredibly with no issues whatsoever. I absolutely loved this car and planned on keeping her forever and swapping the motor when the time came, but I guess it's time to move on.

I just want to thank the whole ClubLexus community for being so great over the years. I've been a member on here for more than 10 years and it's been a pleasure getting to interact with you all.

Take care!

Back in her former glory!

What hit you? That seems like a really low impact. Hope you walked away unscathed.

If you can buy it back cheap from the ins company I'm sure a good body man could cut the bad away anf weld in a donor quarter and rear.

Important thing is that you are ok. Sorry for the car, but it does look like she took the impact very well! Did the rear glass crack at all and is it just the passenger quarter? The car I have has had the driver quarter panel replaced. It might be able to get saved!

Glad you are okay! That *is* the most important thing. When it came down to it, the car protected you. I am sorry for your loss, daSC4.

Darn it, so sorry man. Sounds like you are OK, so that's the most important thing. Car is super clean, and can tell you really cared for and took great care of it. Really sorry to hear

Dam so sorry to hear that. Very very sad day and even worst knowing insurance companies already know they'll total these cars over any type of accident.

You kept this car clean man, very very clean

What kind of seat covers are those in the front and/or what kind of seats did you have installed? They look like they're in great condition and look so nice. And what kind of radio is that?

I was hit by a 2009 Chrysler Sebring sedan lol. Yeah I came out with whiplash, lower back soreness and a sore left shoulder, not too bad considering the damage.

Actually the rear glass didn't crack at all, just the passenger quarter. These cars are like tanks!

Thanks man! That's true I look at it as a blessing disguise.

Thanks man! Yeah I tried to keep her as clean as I could. She was very good to me in return.

Thanks man! I had Clazzio leather seat covers installed and the radio is a Pioneer AVH-2400BT, had it installed in 2012.

Looks like that was a severe hit. The fact that you came out with minor soreness and nothing more speaks to the build quality of these things. Glad you're OK !

Always a shame to see a good car go down! Someone needs to start hauling these rust free wrecks to my part of the country so we can use them for parts, as we have few to none to pick from. Glad your ok. Go buy another one!
