How to find new home for my sc300
What is the best way to find new loving home for my SC300? Listed it on this forum for sale and craifgslist ebay . Only recived couple low ball offers. Lots of money and time went ito this lovely 1995 SC300 during the nine years I owned it.

This is at least the third thread I've seen you mentioning trying to sell it, and I haven't even looked for the classifieds listing. That comes across as desperate, so I'm guessing that's the way your ads read. Food for thought.

I don't think you're being honest with yourself, first of all. If your motives for selling are contradictory, what sort of message do you think you're sending to potential buyers?

I would imagine that trying to sell a rear wheel drive GT car in Colorado right before winter is going to be tough to do. That's why all you're getting is low ball offers. If you really want some more money out of it, park it until the spring. My two cents.

You gotta realize the car is 22 years old. Yours has 140K on it. The maintenance is great, but that rarely increases sale value. I'm being honest here, I don't think it's worth $4,000. I think $2800 is what you should be looking to get out of it. Maintaining a car is a tough choice especially if you're iffy about keeping it. It seems you spent a good deal on maintenance when you should have just sold it. The interior doesn't look great, exterior...hard to tell with the pictures you've posted. That's the problem with your ad. You have snow on the car, and it's dirty....seat covers possibly hiding cracked or worn out seats. Get a car wash, clean the interior up a bit, and take better pictures. We can't sell your car for you. An exterior picture of every angle, an engine bay pic, interior pics, trunk pic, under carriage pic if possible.
Personally I have a 96 with 140K, and I wouldn't expect more then $2800 for it, and thats with complete timing belt stuff done and much more... They're premium gas guzzlers, and they're 20 years old. The SC market is tanking imo. The amount of money to bring one back to life always exceeds it's worth. It's better to look for a pristine one for an extra $1000 with lower miles than pick up one with more wear and tear on it for less.
Just to give an example my brother just got a 2001 GS300 in MINT condition with 73K on it for $5000. I'm talking spotless, mint interior, exterior, new tires, great maintenance history, always garaged, and everything works. That's half the mileage of your car, 6 years newer, and much better condition.
