Default 212 K on a 2jzge

I saw a 5spd but it has over 212K miles on it. I wanted to know if i should buy that a perform an engine swap for another 2jzge?

What should i do?
I don't even know where to start asking question!
Because if i swap then i want turbo but money is an issue a don't have $7k+ in addition to buying the car to throw around and how much would a engine cost with low miles and how much for labor ($600- $850 should be right for a sweap correct)
Should i also worry about any thing else besides the motor since the car has over 200K on the body itself too.
The paint looked clean! but ddnt see the interior!
Help! Thanx

How much is the car? Where did you find it at? Anyways, for someone to do a GTE 6 spd swap your looking at about 40++ hrs and most places will charge about 70$ an hr so your looking at atleast 2500$. A supra tt front clip is going to run about 5000-6000$ for a clip depending on where you get it from. Then you will need most likely a supra tt differential which is about 700 for a nice used one, a custom driveshaft, etc, most likely want to get the supra brakes, suspension, etc installed and thats more labor..plus while the transmission is down why not put a aftermarket clutch in the car so when you start to mod the car you dont have to drop the transmission again

Default Just for the engine...

If you want to just swap out the engine then I would say about 1k to 1500.00 not including the price of the engine, Sorry I can't be more descriptive but there are many factors and also I am in OH and the work I can get may not be the same in NY, more of less its may be more in NY but I am not 100%.... The best thing would be to call a shop that does good work and tell them if you get the engine how much would it be to swap it out and then call around to some places looking for the engine, then add and you will get a very close figure and you can go from there....

BTW : How much it the car you are looking at ??

Note : We all know Toyota's / Lexi's are VERY GOOD cars, So if it was taken care of, even abused a little it should last you until you can get some cash for the turbo swap / 6 speed and all you wanted....

actually I just bought that car (the green one on autotrader). It runs perfect, just needs a new ac compressor and a distributor o-ring. Other than that its great, the transmission is really smooth and the motor is strong and quiet. Definately worth the $4,900

no offense taking but mods do become expensive especially if you don't go the reactive apc auto zone route! w/honda motors

i have a 5 speed with well over 225k miles on it and its still running strong and havn't had a problem yet. just take care of your cars and they last forever.
