Default Lighting - VLEDS

Has anyone had experience with VLEDS "SMZ" or "LMZ Platinum" products. If so, what issues did you encounter? Do you think they are work the $$$ VS HID?

Thanks!

Here was a very fruitful discussion about this subject a few months ago. Please see my response at number 10, and the conclusion of the OP afterwards.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the link. It was a great reference. I think I'm going for an HID conversion on the headlights, and LED's for all of the other exterior bulbs.

I have no issue with installing resistor packs for the LED's, but haven't been able to find a flasher replacement upgrade. Does anyone have a source, short of hacking the stock unit?

Thanks Again!

Depends what year? The 95 and up have a digital flasher version. You just have to match the one in yours with a digital flasher one. The terminals have unique positions and have corresponding letter or number you can match. Here is what I used for 95-96:

Interested to know for my 98 SC400 as well, found the same one on amazon from JDMToy except it's CF14, not entirely sure if it's compatible or not, it says 92-00 SC400 on their product description.

I cannot confirm for the 97+, but you just need to find a match to the terminals and it's signs on a digital flasher. Try browsing superbrightleds.com with your flasher in hand, they have a pretty good selection on there.

Default Found the referenced flash relay on Amazon

Here the link to the item on Amazon. IT's the same one referenced earlier in this thread, and is the same one on The SuperBrightLEDS site and is 3.00 cheaper on Amazon, with free shipping if you're an Amazon Prime Member.
