the offset will be a little off, call DAZZ motorsports they'll get any euro wheel on your car. i have seen kellehners on civics and brabus and carlsons on accords.running around in my city.lexus' with alpinas and brabus wheels.but for all its worth, just order a set of volk racing GTC, they will make ,more of an impression on people.especially with supra offset. the wheels will have a dip lip.

SC's will take 8.5" front & 10" rear width without mods, 18",19" or 20", 5stud, 114.3mm PCD, but you must follow some basic rules;

The front wheel offset should be as close to 50mm as possible (you can use 45mm for the 8.5").

The spigot is 60mm (centre bore of wheel), this is important as the wheels will not centre using the wheel nuts alone, allowing the wheel to run concentric.

Tyres need to retain the same rolling radius as the original tyres.

You need 3mm minimum clearance on the brake calipers.

If your wheel adaptors are 15mm thick then the wheel would need to have 65mm offset to retain 50mm offset when fitted. I would go for wheels that fit, save the hassle.

The ride & handling will suffer if you go beyond 17" rims.

Why does Tire Rack show a +40 offset for all of the 16" wheels it sells for the SC400, but everyone on line says 50+? I noticed that SC400s from the early years came with 7" wide wheels and the ones from later years came with 6.5" width wheels. Could this be the reason for all of the confusion?

I have a 1994 SC400 and want to replace the 16s with some lighter, forged wheels but want to make sure I order the right offset wheels.

Here you go:

If you do a search using the names "Manaray", "SoCalGS4" or "legendary" - you will find much needed info.

IMO, 16s/17s will not look as good as at least an 18" or 19".

I had already read that post as well as intellexual, and neither of them reference specific year models. I agree that larger diameter wheels look better, however, I want to maintain the ride quality plus I just bought new Yokohama tires less than 1,000 miles ago.
