At the ALSC Adelaide dyno day we had two Soarers break 400 hp at the wheels -both turbo 6s.
Martin's car with 462 was tuned on ELF racing fuel - both cars had custom turbo installs and lots of money spent.
My own V8 did ok (190 rwhp) - but nothing near the turbo cars.
Best car of the day was a Commodore with an LS1 Gen III V8 and a Vortech - cranked out 550 rwhp!

damn i want to know more about how to superchargre my 4.0 v8 with a vortech and get some serious horses. i'm assuming they fabricated the braket that bolts the compressor to the engine, is there anyway i can get my hands on one???

 

That Vortech was on a Commodore, not a Soarer.

 

You can buy a Terracharger blower kit for the V8 though

I really wish someone in the States would pull the trigger on this mod. Everyone is eager to complain about the 1UZ power, but no one is willing to do something about it. Give me the money and I'll blow it all right away on this thing ... Better yet, give me a job so I can pay for it myself!

 

We do have instruction and guideline for single turbo SC400.

 

how much is that terracharger and what kind of power are we looking at? hey lextreme what do i have to do to get the blueprints for that single turbo mod. how much are you selling the prints for?? believe me I'M SERIOUS!!!!! i just want to make the best decision before i lay out that kind of money.
