Stock speakers, they are nak originals and are pretty damn good. Type R will be placed in an enclosure.

What is the watts on the stock Pioneer amp ???

To cmdace18 : where are you going to mount your amp and your sub ?? What I mean is how will your enclosure be in your trunk ?? Keep up updated and let see some pics when you are done
Also if you don't mind me asking, how much did you get your amp for ? I was debating on that digital amp my self and I have found it from 185.00 + S/H to 329.00. Also did you get the 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm voice coil... Lol sorry for all the questions, I am looking to upgrade my system and I have a JL 10ib4 now and I am looking at getting 2 sets of JL 5.25 XR components and I am trying to find out if I want 2 amps or just 1 and use the stock pioneer or one 5 ch amp and also if I would need a cap or not, So many setups, I just want a good system and trying to keep the price low.... any one any suggestions ???

this special custom shop did this exact setup, and i heard it in person - its ridiculous.

i dont know the watt on the stock amp, but if you're going to upgrade, upgrade everything so they can fit it and you dont worry about it blowing in the future.

i found the amp for $203 including shipping

oh, ill mount the amp on back of the 10" box .. tweeter will do my box and installation .. dont know exactly where, but ill show pics in a couple of week.. hardly any space in that car! (b/c of the gas tank)
