kit
Hello,
I was looking at the kaminari kit for the SC, not for me but just looking around at different kits. Is it me or does that kit look similair to the AC kit?

PM Steve Ganz @ SUPRATRD for prices...I would like to know how much it is also...
No way in hell does it look like the AC kit...I can't even compare the difference since there are so many..The kaminari kit was built for 92-96 body...And the AC kit was built for the 97-00 body..

Cheap and Auto Couture, 2 words I hope I never see in the same sentance, don't get me wrong I would love to have this kit for 800 bucks, but don't mind spending the 2200-2800 for a clean looking kit that is rare, it's a Lexus spend the extra buck.

The kit never sold for $1600, manaray tried to put a group buy together awhile ago where it would be priced between $1800 and $2000, but everyone flaked out, despite the fact it was an awesome deal. Expect to pay around $2500, and these kits are built to order, so it will take awhile, there are only four or five in the states total.

Hello,
Hello,
Oh yea I have no prob spending top dollar for a kit, especially the AC, T&E or the JIC because all are pretty sweet. So it's never been about being "cheap", just someone might want a quick fix or just something to hold them over for a few months and still stand out from the others somewhat until they get that really awesome kit. Just a thought.

Yeah, I had a group buy at one time from a Japanese source and I actually got the price worked down to $1600 delivered to Los Angeles (but it was about $150+ or so to get it to anywhere else in the USA) which is where the $1800+ price came from....only needed 8 buyers and all these SC owners were talking big and when it came down to it, like 5 of them flaked out (no money...now there's a surprise....you can't pimp on a budget!)....I was going to actually just buy the balance (so I'd be buying 6 kits out of 8) but that means I would have had to sit on $8000 worth of body kits and hope to sell them....screw that, I don't even have a damn place to store 5 full body kits (these kits are NOT lips, it's a full front and rear bumper plus side skirts)
After that deal, I decided that any GB I run will need the buyers to have money up front. Seperate the Players from the Poseurs, so to speak...any future big ticket GB I run will require a substantial non-refundable deposit...
Now you'll be lucky to find that kit for $2100...I think $2500 is about right...
