So here's my situation:
I want in on the JIC GB. I'm also interested in the 18 or 19 Moda R6.
If I get the JIC coilover first (only 2 weeks b4 GB is over), then I can always readjust it later for the rims right?
or should i Just buy both at the same time and install them together?
Any ideas?

Well, if you can AFFORD both, why not? I wouldnt miss the group buy anyway no matter what as long as you can do it,. these deals dont come often.

OneLastTry,
Well, other than $1200 for the JIC, there's another $2000 for Moda R6 and Tires. And as you know, I'm also getting a new headunit cuz my CD changer died. It's all adding up really fast,,, and all of this is just after I spent $1000 on the 60k mile maintenance.
**sigh**

Legend, I think you will really like this mod because it is very functional, and a highly regarded product. You could only go better by doing FLT-a2's, and seriously, that is only if you are in it more for auto-x or some other kind of track use. IMHO, SF-1's will do just fine.
You will enjoy the car's adjustablity, and to answer your question, yes, once you get your new shoes, you can "roll your socks up or down " to accomodate their width and height .
Ahh, the beauty of coilovers. I know how you feel...I wanted to get my wheels first, but this is a great offer, so they will be next on the list. I am going with 19 x 8.5 f and 19 x 10 r.

I am going through this right now, I went with L-Tuned Shocks/Springs for a 1' drop in suspension. I currently have on aftermarket Lexus 16's and will go up to 18's in a couple months.
I would say go for suspension first escpecially because the Tein are adjustable.

This thread may be old but I would still say get wheels first. The SC looks terrible with skinny little wheels and tires. Why they created this car with little wheels is beyond comprehension. Everything else about the car seems ahead of it's time. Except the puny wheels. ANyone else out there contemplating this? Get wheels first.

Wow, we've got a real live debate here. Maybe someone should start a thread for it. WHich looks better, lowered stock or plus sized wheels on stock height? My sig is a pic or my car with stock height. Anyone gonna tell it would look better with stock wheels? I'm sorry, I can't see that.
Driving a lowered car is a pain in the neck anyway. Especially with a body kit. Scraping the ground going over dips. Slowing down over uneven surfaces. Being careful about parking space cement blocks. Curbs that are tall. On and on. Sometimes I think it's not worth the trouble.
Until I wash it again and sit back to take it all in.
