It is hard for me to hear about someone's ride being stolen. Like everyone said, at least you are okay. Things will get better.

 

What happened to the other stolen Lexus thread ?

I am sorry to hear about your car. I have also been in that position, having my car stolen before, and it is very hard to understand and deal with. Good luck.

You gotta be a pretty deep sleeper if you can't hear your alarm blasting.

Speaking about theft prevention, does anyone use any "anti-thief" devices (aka The Club or the one that prevents you from operating the brakes)?

 

I got Autolock, the Club and Pager alarm...The pager alarm is more effective...it pages me whenever the alarm goes off and when my car gives a warning beep...Once I caught someone outside a diner hit my car, the alarm went off and I foound out I got hit..She paid and its the end of story...

I hope nothing else happens...*knock on wood*

 

Everything inside is gone they tore up my leather seats with a box cutter and my dashboard so now i basiclly need a new interior hope they didnt abuse her when they had her , and they scratched up my paint with box cutters or nails also. But at least shes back .

thanks guys for feeling my pain, my fronbt bumper needs replacing but im already getting a bomex kit my headlights are cracked seems they bumped something with them , dennis ill definitely give you a call about a paint job favor, and aliga ill be speaking to you shortly again thanks guys for everything ill make sure when my car ends up in a show i wont forget you .

DAMN! I though SC's were hard to steal, with the exception of a tow truck.
ANd you had another car parked in the way of the SC?
they had to break into 2 cars to get the SC out then....
Was the 1st car broken into or dragged by a tow truck?

 

As ONE HOT SC400 said get the 2 way paging alarm. i know its going to be a hastle with the false alarms. They usually have 2 modes. Warning mode and Alarm mode. If somone touches your car it will give you a series of beeps to let you know, if someone hits or tries to jimmy your car or anything it will let you know with another series of beeps. etc etc.

I live in manhattan and I don't forget to put my club, autolock, and the hammer. I also lock the glove compartment and the trunk lock. Thieves will try to get to the glove box if its locked or something like that(gives me more time to get there to pound the life out of them and spoon their eyes out. People think I'm crazy because if my car gives off warning beeps of alarm beeps I go running down to my car with my aluminum bat. knock on wood its thwarted thieves till now.

 

I'll contribute to the repair fund too, PM me and i'll cut you a deal on a two-way alarm system to keep this from happening again, can also do a LoJack for you if you need, any way I can help let me know...
