If i'm going to be dead honest with you, first this belongs in the electronics forum
But as far as the system goes, i don't candy coat my opinions when someone asks me for mine.

The head unit is clean but extremely plain. see if you can stick something like an audiocontrol esp-3 or something under it to take up the blah a little.

The sub box looks like it is located in a location that would hamper putting anything over a foot long in there, i'd shove it to the side.

The amp looks like it was mounted well and i give it a However i'm concerned with overheating where it is and the fact that it stands strait up means it dissipates heat on the top of the amp and may lead to premature failure of everything on the top end of the amp. ESPECIALLY since it has no force air cooling. you are only using 15% of the amps heatsink to cool.

I like your car, and the system is definately installed well and not ghetto so i give ya a

How hot does your amp get tucked behind the carpet? I would think it wouldn't be able to cool properly.

theres about a 5" gap between the amp and the carpet, because its 'punched out' ... thats how the carpet was manufactured .... overheating? there's so much room in the side, that i dont think that will be a problem ... i asked my installer about that too, said there's plenty of room and the mrd doenst heat up as quick as others ...

Overheating on the amp would be my concern, as well, especially in hot weather. You might try keeping an eye on it, either by installing a thermometer there, or just checking it with your hand after it's been running for a while.

Very clean installation on the head unit, although I also have aesthetic quibbles about all the empty space. At least put in a slot for some storage. They did a good job matching the console material and color, though.

I cant recall the screen name but theres a guy here that did a single sub install that was corner loaded and made from Fiberglass. It looked really nice IMO.

Maybe someone will help out with his screen name.

Was the surround for your HU custom fabricated or is there some place you can pick it up, cuz I really need one for my upcoming install. I'm doing mostly alpine too with a one DIN folding screen and i like the fact that your surrounding plate looks pretty clean and full. Oh, and I was wondering about this yesterday. What can you do about the OEM volume ****? Can you remove it and cover the hole with a dash kit? Serves no purpose and seems outta place with a new HU.
