I ordered Magnaflow 14829 stainless steel mufflers online and had them mounted locally. The problem is I was not aware that the muffler shop didn't have hangers that would mount unseen for my SC400 and this muffler type. So, without telling me beforehand what they were going to do, when you look at the rear of the car you see these mufflers and see the mounting hangers welded down onto the face of the muffler at the inside edge. The mufflers look awesome except for this hanger and it's weld, and I'm already seeing some little bits of rust near the hangars. The average person doesn't notice it, but being a Lex fan it is driving me crazy.

Is there stainless steel paint available to prevent rust corrosion and also color match these hangars and welds better so it is less noticeable?

I have the exact same problem. The welded part looks brown and nasty. Hopefully my vertex lip will hide it.

use high temp paint. it works fairly well.
