I totally agree. If the new Soarer/SC430 looked like that Aston Martin... well... looks like I'd have to sell my soul to afford it

I like the unmodified version - that looks like a 350Z to me.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is nice, but I like the looks of the DB9 & Vanquish S more. The DB9 is more elegant & the Vanquish more mean & aggressive.

wait, Ford owns Jag that much i know for sure but i was reasonably sure that Austin Martin was still its own seperate company.

If the Aston Martin badge was off that car would you all rate that car more objectively? Because as I look at the car I don't see anything particularly amazing about its design. It looks like many of the new sport cars.
Just as one member in this thread pointed out, in regard to the modified version, it looked like the Z. The design Lexus introduced runs in line with the current sport cars designs, I think they screwed up on the rear otherwise their design and other manufacturers designs are in many ways identical.

That Vantage looks like it could eat a 350Z to me. Lexus needs to take that picture and get to work. If a new sc came out looking something like that it could easily be one of the most desired midrange cars out there.

If they budgeted more like mercedes then they would face the money problems like mercedes, and we all know we don't want that happening (even though I won't be able to afford a new lexus for a while and just sold my old SC 300.
