what the new SC should've looked like??
going through a collection of pictures, I ran across one of my favorite concepts by aston martin.. and I dunno to you but the more I looked at the pics the scariest it got.. to me it seemed as if they would have taken the sc4/3 and made a concept for a newer model EXCEPT the grill, which we all know it just has to be like that since its one of ast.mar signature shapes.. btw nothing against the new SC, I like the car a lot, but I just think they should've put it in another category and keep the new sc as sporty and mean looking as the 92-00..

keep in mind this car is a tad smaller than a 360 modena, to give you an idea of size.. last one for now..

Skulinex, you are SO right. I've given the sc430 a look, and though it is a nice car, it is TOO "nice". The sc300 & 400 were more "mean" as you said. The 400/300 appealed to a guy who considered M3s and M5s, the 430 is the car his wife craved yet still allowed him to enjoy 300 hp but in a more "feminine" package (no offense to the female enthusiasts out there --we know know there are some ).
A good comparison would be Mustangs. The models of the late 60s/ early 70s looked badass, then around '73 (?) they got really wimpy for a number of years. Mustang enthusiasts must be salivating over the new model coming out --really outstanding looks.
The problem for us is that Lexus is most concerned with pleasing the luxury crowd, of which only a minority feel as we do. Perhaps if they budgeted for more models (a la Mercedes) they could find room for this sc430 and a reinvented sc400 that screams testosterone -- 350-450hp with an available stick and looks like that Aston.
