I own a 93 SC400, Pearl white, i was thinking of doing a steering wheel swap, putting in a wood and leather wheel from say a rx300. Is this possible, a good idea, or is there something better for me?

I'm not sure if you checked, but go to Clublexus Marketplace -> approved vendor section. There's a group buy going on. If the deal is over, contact american stitches. They will have your steering wheel rerapped and add wood parts if you want.

There was this guy at the Carson Meet who has a 92 SC400 with a 2003 RX300 Wood steering wheel on it. It looks tight !!! If I remember his screen name I will let you know !!

That was actually a 2001 RX300 Airbag along with a 2001+ (not sure what year, they're all the same) ES300 steering wheel...colors are COMPLETLEY wrong (wood and leather) but that's only because I haven't sent it in to have it redone (via the group buy)...once I get it back, it will be the correct color leather and wood and it'll have thumbrests like my factory 2001 GS430 Wood Steering wheel...

I will be posting full info on how the conversion was done along with the cruise control mod when the SC400 Project Car website is up (Rich, are you still up to do this? After the accident, I understand if you're not)...
