I know where the spark plugs are for my SC400...Now, do I just pull it out hard?

Do I just pull the darn things out or is there a special way to get them out...

Do I have to change the spark plug wires along with the spark plugs? or do I'll be fine just changing the plugs?

I think spark plugs are screwed in. Maybe you should have a mechanic do the change.

There is nothing like doing it yourself....I'll learn something from the process...

I noticed there is a black rubber piece around it that is attached to the spark plug wiring...How do I proceed from there....Do I just twist the darn thing off since its screwed into it...?

You should be able to just give the connector a twist and pull it off. These plug off/on. The plugs screw in and are actually recessed about 4 inches. I changed the plugs, wires, dist caps and rotors on mine last weekend. The plugs and wires are pretty easy. The caps and rotors require removing two more (front) timing belt covers and the serpentine belt.

Good for you for trying it yourself!!

Be sure to mark your wires to keep the proper order....or just replace one at a time.

The Lexus wires are all numbered and because of the way they're channel and their lengths, you would almost have to try to get it wrong!
