Off all the damn things in the world that Damn storm in Md killed me last night. I goto sleep all happy cause I got back with my girl. Not a care in the world. then i wake up. My sister busts into my from tellin me to come outside. and low and behold the worst damn thing in the world has happened to me. A tree that is 3 storys tall decides to fall on my car and my damn garage. I knew it was gonna be a bad day. I heard somthing load, but I just shrugged it off. I'm sooo pissed. I just got the damn thing out of the shop. I never have any luck. But I didn't have that much done, and I'm goin through my homeowners insurance. Maybe I'll up grade to a GS, who knows. But whatever. I need alcohol, who has some?

 

Hey man, i feel your pain, I put new 20s on this weekend, then my tranny went out!! Thankfully Lexus will replace it free of charge! I hope everything works out for you and you get a new car out of it!

 

sorry to here this....hopefully you get the upgrade...but personally ...i love my SC TOOOO much to get even the refined GS....just my .02$

my neighbor when I lived in Austin has worse luck than you,..( prolly cuz he ain't livin' right ),... first, on of those mobil basketball goals with the water filled bottoms blew over and smashed his car, ... ok, he gets that fixed,..... then he has a mobil car stereo installer come and hook his system up,... this idiot left the factory wiring in the doors of his battle-lac and put a super high powered amp on it and caught the damn thing on fire while he was driving it.... not to mention a break in somewhere in there.

Hell, you said it fell on your garage too.... that's house damage!! If you're gonna upgrade, then get an SC430!!

 

at least you werent IN the car, this Japanese student at GaTech got killed today when he had pulled over to wait for the rain to go down a bit, and a tree next to the car fell right on top of him...

 

Sorry to hear about the tree thing. And I used to think my car was safe in the garage. Now I'm thinking about that 75' 100 yr old Pecan tree that hangs over it. Even though my garage roof has a welded steel frame, I don't think it would hold up to several tons of wood falling on it at once. Hope your insurance co. deals with you fairly.

I live in Kasnas City, and i don't know if you heard, but a few months back we got hit by tornadoes (my neighborhood in particular). A few blocks over lives a 97+ SC400 in that rare metallic blue. The tornado removed the actual living part of the house a few lots over, but the garage was lifted up, then dropped on the SC. I was just fixin to go have some SC talk with him before this happened. It looks it went through the crusher. Nevertheless, everybody in my 'hood is gettin new houses/cars. It will all work out for you. Just be patient. Take care bud!

Whew,...don't miss them tornadoes - ( Wichita Ks 97 -99 ). One of the storms I survived, my neighbors left out tryin' to go to a storm shelter instead of stayin' at home and got a bilboard blown on their car and it smashed it up pretty good. Tornadic weather sucks! Insurance for that very reason is higher in NOWHERE AZZ KANSAS than it is here in Hi Crime Houston.
