hey guys .. ive looked on ebay, and cant find it .. but i am looking for an ALL chrome license plate with JUST the 'L' logo in the middle. I want it in all chrome, since i have a dark blue sc400 with chrome emblems. Ebay has the ones w the 'L' logo in gold ....


any help?

as far as the lisence plate goes, i've seen them hanging in my local lexus dealer...i'd check there and if you want i can stop into mine one of these days and look for you as well.

hey, if you want to save some money, you can make one yourself........................

1. go to local parts store. (pep boys,autozone,etc.) and buy a plain chrome plate.

2. go to local lexus dealer and buy a front emblem for sc300/400. try to get the one w/o the pins......
.....if you can't, then break the pins off w/ some needle nose pliers.

3. peel the tape off the back of the emblem and apply to center of the plate.

now you have a lexus plate for less than one at the dealer. plus you don't have to wait(or pay) for shipping.

sorry, i dont have one on my car. here in cali you have to have a license plate on the front and the back so it wouldn't work for me. i worked at a toyota dealership a few years back, so thats how i realized they just used trunk or hood emblems on the plates. although i havent done it yet, you can get a chrome tag frame that has a thick part across the bottom and use the LEXUS emblem on the drivers side of the trunk. it fits perfect in the space. i might get around to doing that soon.

(but i bid on it (user ID: Rocketman21) heheheheh ... so find your own damn one!! nah, im kidding, email the dude in the auction ... theres two on ebay now, chrome plate with chrome logo (which i want) and chrome plate with gold logo ... $24.99 starting price. . im too lazy to make my own .... here's the link as to what i was talking about

ok now i know...i have seen them before on e-bay...see in michigan we only use one plate and not 2 like alot of states do....but if you buy a car from out of state and have the bracket...which i do have a bracket...lol..(from the previous owner) then this is a great addition.
