Bingo. i keep telling everyone wanting blue they are getting a dull color. green and red are much brighter. i can use a little blue in the buttons and such and it look great, but green or red is the way to go IMO.

BULB BACKLIGHT UPDATE

Since people keep telling me they dont want to use #24's due to their size i have found a direct replacement for the backlighting.

#37 by GE is NOT available at most any place, you have to search deep for it. you might not find it after looking for weeks, but you wanted a replacement that was the same as the original, you got it.

Advantages to running the #37 - identical to factory, size and brightness.

Advantages to running the #24 - slightly bigger (by only 1mm), MUCH brighter.

so to everyone that wanted it to be dull, and factory. there's your bulb. enjoy.

The #24 is very hard to find even in Sylvania's website. I also did a search for it.

Btw, I love your latest creations...

I think my AC cluster will be coming your way one day. When I know I will not be driving the car for a while. I don't want to take apart the pins and ruin it.

you are an asset to this site OLT..nuff respect!
i -like everyone else, am extremely impressed by that green setup... makes me rethink that pure white a/c- dash backlighting . actually i can't wait for you to complete that color change...if only i had a factory radio to match that a/c control..damn it's hot!
