no really.... i HATE ups........

5th package in 2 months to be returned to sender because the driver won't come up the hil, nor do they send me a postcard to let me know.

FYI..... {blank} UPS!
Hey Brian..
It sounds like you need to get a PO box...
Your driveway is pretty intimidating to the INEXPERINCED mountain goat.. But UPS drivers should be used to parking a 10 foot truck in a 9 foot hole.
You wouldn't believe the problems I've had just living in a 3rd floor apartment in a large city! This has happened several times to me with both UPS and the post office. I've had packages returned, and pickup slips left when I KNOW someone was home.
At least I am at UPS ( a real center, not one of those 'mailbox' places) and the local post office so much when I complained, they actually DID something.. I filed formal complaints & have yet to have a problem . Again.
Now FedEx... Thats a whole different story.. I've instructed people shipping to me NEVER to use FedEx! They constantly leave packages unattended on my PORCH! Even though I have a sign that says DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES ON PORCH. I had a laptop that was being shipped to me for repairs left on the porch for TWO DAYS during a massive storm.. firstly, I was beyond shocked that no one stole it, Then they had the nerve to say that I was neglegent for letting it stay there for 2 days when I filed an insurance claim.. I then produced a picture of the do not leave packages....' sign on my door , And I asked then How the F*** was I neglegent for daring to be out of town for 2 days..

Idiots...Idiots....

Thank you O.L.T. I love it. I froze my butt off for one week, but it was worth it.

I just can't get the right picture to show the way it really looks.(supposed to be green)

Might wanna resize that bohemoth of a climate control. That's a weird angle to take a picture of your climate control btw....

Resized.

I can't keep my hand steady in the dark so I placed the camera on top of the shifter. With a digi camera any movement gives you blurry picture.

Default Cost for mod

I have read most of this thread and have a question. If I wanted to send you my A/C panel and instrument cluster, what kind of turnaround time could i expect? Also, what do you charge for this mod?

I just got back my climate control unit and my NAK back from OLT ( those were mine a few pics back...) I got everything and and it looks GREAT! I don't have my digicam right now, but as soon as I get it, I will post pics. The console bulbs however... they burn too hot. The ones I received melted my ECT switch. When they were installed, the temp and volume ***** looked WAY brighter than the climate display. I'm wondering if they are indeed 6V. If anyone has an extra ECT/Power switch lying around, I would be very greatful. I will post pics of the console bulbs OLT sent me vs the factory ones I took out. OLT's bulbs are way bigger. Will let you know... Gonna try and find the blbs Taka recommended.

The bulb for the hazard switch is the same size as the ones for the temp/volume, ECT/Power, Trac, Radio button, etc. Anyone kno where you can get a large supply of them?
