I just repositioned all white LEDs in my cluster to be just about flat against the backboard, spotting is now all gone. Just had to bend them to reflect off the white "ramps".
BTW, I wonder if anyone noticed...but one of the two smaller needles in the cluster (one for gas, one for engine temperature) has a brass weight and other one doesn't. I pulled them out and got them mixed up. Now I don't know which one for which. So does anyone which gauge the needle with brass goes to?

i tried it that was but it wasn't bright enough. i am still firing them strait into the faceplate. you can turn them down or turn them up and read a magazine
Did a pure white with blue tonight. ABSOLUTELY my favorite cluster hands down ... period.

AWESOME. I want those blue needles damnit. Too bad my silly ES300's needles already have amber face.. boohoo.
Anyhow, two pictures from my cluster.. actually bit more blue/gray in person, and definitely not bright enough to read a magazine like Brian's. I had the LEDs positioned straight and it made it too blindingly bright for my taste

just finished the INDIGLO blue with white. OMG this thing is BLUE. i had to turn down the intensity all the way to get a pic, so everything in this pic is almost off. my camera does NOT like blue...lol. no spotting, absolutely perfect background.

how much to do the needles(all 4) in blue. The white guages with blue needles look awesome. If you need to change the odometer to blue, I have the blue filter plastic that will turn the green to blue it is somewhat expensive but I used it to change the clock and odometer on my supra.
