LOL, i had to post this....

I took a 14 volt drill battery, plugged it into the radio, walked outside and used it for a flashlight.

In the following series of pictures you will see each led running on a DMM unit. The voltage shown is each LED's specific running voltage. The clusters cannot run correctly if they are not built correctly.

The following pictures are submitted to show you some of the variables involved in building the right cluster at the right voltage. There is a reason why you have to take this stuff seriously. Without the correct voltage the led's won't last.

Since the pics don't show the attitude of the led's under voltage, here is a short video of a color changing LED under load on a DMM using a timed interface to adjust the resistance to each color.

Who would have ever believed a '92 cluster could look like this? This is mine by the way. There had to be one thing special about it if i was going to put it in my car. So when i built it, i leaned over and removed the needles from my spare GS cluster. ........and no..... they are not a direct plug in (i had some mean lens flare going in this pic, forgive that).

HA! the cluster is so nice for a '92. i am really digging it. i even made a vid of it so you know i like it this and my blue set of needles i have spare to swap out each week () are my two favorite's.

Hey, everyone should have a second color .... red this week, blue next week

http://home.comcast.net/~bcrowder19/131_3174.AVI

you should have seen me sitting there trying to figure out how i was going to rewire the cluster to take reverse voltage needles...lol. and yes Gazi, one of those gs sets is this set. should look familiar. admittingly though, i'm killing them. I figure i'm running them .5volt to high. we'll see how long they can take it. i'm waiting for them to die so i can stick my bloody smd's in there.
