Imagine the airbrushed looking cluster with satin white needle's. i was playing with a photo chop (which i am seriously no good at in any way) and even though i did a terrible job chopping, they looked good on the bottom picture. one thing is for sure, that is a "loud" cluster.

their's nothing rice on my web site.
i've been in this scene for 8 years. i dont go around on forums learning from others.
if my light bulbs went out, i rather put in the OEM replacement bulbs, then making it all flashy.

i guess some/most of you guys are still stuck in 1997.
i thought this was a good forum where it was function over fasion.
it just seems like another clubsi.com

all the pictures you see on my site are JDM cars. meaning Japanese OEM stock.
some people on this board knows what im talking about.

ill let all you guys back to your colorful clusters.

Lord forbid someone wants to do something different. We all know the SC bulbs blow and now we know we don't HAVE to go back stock. The functional purpose maybe the color matches an aftermarket stereo or it's brighter and does not wash out in sunlight. It's not like it's LED washers.

I'm just waiting for the posts to roll in regarding this last one.
I'm trying to become a nicer person these days, so I'm going to leave this one alone

I think any options are good options. when is the last time anyone ever said "na, i won't need that life jacket, the boat should make it there just fine."

The heck with that... i like every available option i can get. and if i have any say in it (and i do ) ClubLexus will have every option for color, brightness, and longevity of all electronic devices within the car for as long as i am here.

You are very welcome to your opinion NRG, and i welcome it. However let's realize if someone didn't screw with the concepts of life we would all be running off of DC electricity in our homes, there would be a power plant every 24 miles (as dc isn't efficient over long distances), your electric bill would be $1,500.00 a month for just running the air conditioner, you most likely would not have a computer since A/C current is nessesary to supply the counters inside the computer with frequency, and much like my personal greatest hero Nikola Tesla (who brought you all this wonderful A/C) I too will not quit unitl i feel every available option is here on ClubLexus and it's members are completely open to the truth of the matter which is you don't have to spend $500.00 to make your dash needle's blue, you don't have to spend $800.00 to replace the speedo cluster when they die, you don't have to spend $250.00 on ebay to get a new a/c unit when the backlighting craps out on you, and you don't have to ever...ever... sacrifice your options in order to remain true.

much props to onelasttry, a very easy going guy i might say.
i thought you would post back like an *******.
Im glad that you accept my opion. I just wish many more would.

I just hate to see a lexus turn into a honda.

Anyone ever seen those indaglow clusters, or reverse indaglow ones, where its red/blue and Bright as **** when you drive?
Thats what i thought of when i saw these =\

I understand what you mean in your post, but i think this have been done.
Every car is the same, all the cluster are the same in all japanese imports. If you didnt come up with this, someone else would've. The only reason some are so suprised is because lack of knowlodge if automobile.

Although if my bulbs ever did come out, i could always stop at my uncle's junk yard in fontana, CA, and grab a few bulbs.

also forgot that you're out in TN, the car scene is crappy out there
the car scene out in southern cali is mostly influenced by OEM japanese stock hehe. ie: black rims, light weight parts, all money under the hood, etc.
no one around here gives a damn about how a car looks anymore. It will take a 1 or so for the trend to spread east. California always sets the trend. damn hollywood.

NRG: since I think you were directing your thoughts to me I will respond.
I know you think I'm a ricer(you've called me a ricer 3 times already).

I think this site has both function and fashion. why choose when you can have both.
you think CL is like ClubSI? no comment there.
oh yeah.. I already knew what JDM meant but thanks for the heads up
why would you say things you do if you thought onelasttry was going to respond like an a******?

But since I've been in the import scene for 4 years I'll give you the seniority and will not comment to your remarks anymore. I'm sorry for thinking that you and your friends were ricers since anything JDM is not rice.

good luck in your ventures. I will not respond to your comments posted in any posts in CL. Just try to curb your "you are rice" comments a little bit.

I am rice, but i'm pork fried rice.

to the mods: I won't reply on this thread anymore. Sorry if I was argumentative and off topic.(remove or edit as you see fit.)

Every car is the same, all the cluster are the same in all japanese imports.
so you are telling me all imports have a tiny strip of 9 l.e.ds in each needle??, and they burn out after 5-6 years? come on now.

If you didnt come up with this, someone else would've. The only reason some are so suprised is because lack of knowlodge if automobile.
I have a feeling that if onelast had not come along nobody would have found a fix for a long time. There was a myth for the longest time that these needles only had 3 l.e.ds and that they were unrepairable. I don`t think anyone was surprised because of a lack of knowledge, just surprised because something that was previously thought to be either impossible or too expensive to do was accomplished.
