Nope, if i had forgotten to do anything it would sit on REDLINE. your cluster just got a little shook up in shipping. simply lift the needle off and stick it on where it should be with the engine running, it is already balanced.

My PM box works if you need anything else. thanks.

OLT,

I ended up buying a second cluster as mine was badly messed up. As soon as I have the $$$ I will be sending it to you to get the red background lights I like.

However, I was fooling around with my old one that someone badly screwed up and I was wanting to give it a shot myself to see if I can fix it. Where can u get the bulbs for the speedometer/rpm and also for the needles??? Can u sell me them or suggest somewhere I might go??

Also, when u remove the needle etc. from the speedometer and twist the thing with the connections on it, should it swivel back to zero? For some reason mine gets stuck but I can't take it apart because there is no room for the screwdriver for the 2 small gold philips screws? Any ideas what I am talking about?? I can take pics if u need them.

I noticed on the 5 screws on each side of the back that there is 1 resistor going into 2. Could u explain this to me??

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very interested in this. Please rest assured that I would never try and steal any of your business - this is for my own personal use.

Thx man

Jonny

Lol, this aint business bro, i am here to help.

Unfortunately the clusters are more of a "feel it out" sort of thing. It's technique over knowledge. you just have to know how to feel the gauges to set them right when you are trying to cure a smashed disk (when they dont return).

as far as the lights, the bulb info is in the start of the thread.
