No Speed
I rarely go over 90 on my SC4, I'm only 18!!!!! Do you know how hard that is, but I want it to last. I've had it for a year, it now has 222K. I've been stopped by the cops at least 6 times in the last 6 months on the street and gotten two tickets, how do I stop that?

and yes i know i was an idiot and never should have done what i did, but i did. Theres nothing i can do to change that fact that i did do stuff illegal. Now am i paying the 65 dollar ticket, and taking the 45 dollar, 8 hour video on how to drive safetly.
PS- the guy next to me in court passed a school bus and had to pay 550 dollars!! haha

I never raced on the public streets but I did have kinda a heavy foot. I used to get about 1 ticket per year. Nothing stupid or reckless. Just stuff like 10 to 20mph over the speed limit. Sometimes faster. Traffic school would take them off my record then I'd just go right back to driving fast. Then I had a nasty accident last year. Put me in the hospital. Had surgery to repair my left hand. Totalled my SC. Luckily I wasn't at fault. That changed my driving habits big time. Drive nice and safe on the roads and I save my heavy foot for the track. The point is, some people just need to learn the hard way like I did. Hopefully this ticket is the worst you have to go through and you don't have to learn like I did.
Glad you walked away relatively ok.

Only $65!!! You are so F'n lucky. I had to pay a $70 dollar ticket just for going 9 mph over the speed limit. I couldn't imagine what would've happened if I was going 60 over the speed limit....3 or 4 HUNDRED dollar ticket, suspended licence, jail time, loss of Lexus and not to mention a possible loss of life!
I'm sure you've learned your lession.

He lives in Texas...that's why its so cheap. I got a ticket over a year ago going 90 on freeway, it was 160+. Get a HONDA....LOL. I don't think I can see anyone owning a Honda after owning a Lexus. I just can't.
