that color is amazing. want a black one ?

looks like you just need a new header panel, unless they can pull it back out.

serious thing about that alternator dying due to the PS pump. happened to me the first week i bought my car. For a cheap, but correct fix, AutoZone had the PS in stock for less that 200.00 and i did the labor in less than one hour. i've had it for over a year and no problems at all.

Lightbulb hey

Hmmmmm........no emblem........never thought about that.....that would look great(got any pics?)

About the "CL meet" where can I get more info?

Talked to the previous owner tonight (girlfriends bro lol) he says he didn't do anything to the headlights.......he bought it with over 100k on it back in 98(he's the second owner)...could of been done before him.

Are there any common signs that the alternator might be affected already by the ps leak? the previous owner said it started maybe 6 months to a year ago......I'm hoping the leak is only in a hose or a seal, not the pump......I cant really see where the leak is at

Hello, (this is my first post and my first car) I bought a 93 SC 400 about a month ago and what can I say WOW!!!! What a great car!!!!
There is 127k on it and it purrs. I paid $6000 for it and I've very happy with it. I get so many compliments and people almost always ask what year it is.

There are some problems like: a small leak in the steering fluid, the drivers side seat heater doesn't seem to work, rear speakers are dead except for the sub, the driving position memory switch for the seat stops mid way(steering wheel and side mirrors are ok), all the cluster needles are slightly burning out (flickering), new tires are needed, front has been pushed in a bit from the previous owner falling asleep at the wheel and rear-ending someone, and my girlfriend want to borrow it when she goes out (drives me insane worrying about it) HUGE PROBLEM.
I plan on getting the front fixed soon, I got a quote for $500-$1000. sounds about right but I'm not sure.
Other than that it's great. well here are some pics..................
Great find! I love the colour of your SC. As everyone has been saying, get your power steering resevoir checked out, otherwise you'll run the risk of damaging the alternator.

Enjoy the SC!

Yes, you wouldn't have any electrical systems that work in your car.

Sarcastic, but true

Default yes..........

wow.......adds some mystery to it ...........great , YES please some more pics would be cool.
Are they easy to take off and does it leave a big mark? Cause I would like to take off the front "L" , back"LEXUS" and the gold "SC 400"(might leave the back "L")

I'm going to bring her in tomorrow to get an estimate on the power steering fluid leak and ask them how much to fix the front (not at Lexus). Hopefully it's not that bad.

Thanks again for the advise everyone
