My new/used 93 SC400 pics
Hello, (this is my first post and my first car) I bought a 93 SC 400 about a month ago and what can I say WOW!!!! What a great car!!!!
There is 127k on it and it purrs. I paid $6000 for it and I've very happy with it. I get so many compliments and people almost always ask what year it is.
There are some problems like: a small leak in the steering fluid, the drivers side seat heater doesn't seem to work, rear speakers are dead except for the sub, the driving position memory switch for the seat stops mid way(steering wheel and side mirrors are ok), all the cluster needles are slightly burning out (flickering), new tires are needed, front has been pushed in a bit from the previous owner falling asleep at the wheel and rear-ending someone, and my girlfriend want to borrow it when she goes out (drives me insane worrying about it) HUGE PROBLEM.
I plan on getting the front fixed soon, I got a quote for $500-$1000. sounds about right but I'm not sure.
Other than that it's great. well here are some pics..................

The power steering fix is quite expensive, especially if you have Lexus do it. Approximately $1,100 to $1,200 to replace the pump, switch, and reservoir. I have read where some have replaced some seals and re-built it for far less. Whatever you do, do it soon, or you will be replacing the alternator and the rack.
