adidas: I bought galvinized metal sheet for 6bucks at home depot. They are excellent at blocking out heat and they are malliable enough to form to your liking. Once done you can heat it up and cool it to make it more rigid. For the edges I bought a screen door repair kit which has this thin rubber piece with a slit in the middle you can put around the edge of the metal... I've got so much stuff in the car to be installed i'm going to try and get to it in the next week or two.
not bad at all. i'm going to have to stop by there and pick a sheet up. does the rubber in that repair kit have some sort of glue or anything so it stays in place? don't want the shield shifting...
doesn't come with any type of glue... I'm thinking I'm going to use elmhur's glue or something... still looking for an adhesive that will work right with this setup...
I wish there was a section where we can put all the step by step on how to do the common mods.... I regret that I didn't measure exactly eventying that I did when I did the exhaust....
