It is what it is .. expensive JDM RHD supra mkivs and under powered specs of the MKV is increasing the demand of the USDM MKIVs thus revving up their values. Most especially the very low mileage stock 6 speeds.
Until the SC crowd mentality changes , no where will our damn SCs go up in price. I don't see it happening . Am sure most if not many who had tried selling their SC extra parts or even their SC have experienced how cheap the SC crowd is. Try it and you will know what I am talking about , lol.
True that by the way I went out and got the steering rack and roll bar bushings. I’ll let you know when installed. Thanks for the tip.
I appreciate my low mile 97 five speed with the Supra OEM LSD. It is my unicorn....well don’t tell that to my GEN 2 958 Cayenne with a 6speed I like rare cars
Definitely a 97 SC300 in Renaissance Red with around 60k miles (or less) is a very rare car! It was definitely the rarest SC I have owned until I sold it to this guy from Maryland.
I personally don't know if the SC will ever be a true collectible from a market perspective, but from my own preference, I definitely want either a 97 SC300 manual or a 98-00 SC in my garage 20 years from now.

My sc is very rare, just because it’s special and it’s mine and I take great care of it
cars that been out of production almost for 20 years becoming harder to find in a clean state!
I know these will never be that but damn at some point the commonality has to help out and “a rising tide raises all boats”
what other Analog rear wheel drive inline six GT coupe that looks like that are out there?
Why not just keep quiet and keep the price down? Do you need the car to be expensive to enjoy it? i personally dont mind paying $2500 for a decent SC 400.

Dont get it.
lol fair enough but I suspect preaching to the fairlthful on a dedicated forum isnt turning any tides.
I was just about to post this myself! Double-edged sword... glad to see these cars are gaining some value and appreciation. But also sad that the cars we love will be harder to obtain in the upcoming years.
