My new to me 93' Sc300 Original 5 Speed
Just wanted to share this with you guys. Zero rust (was owned by some old guy in ATL for like 10 years in a garage), immaculate interior, original manual. Bone stock except for Tein coils.. even stock exhaust! lol. Only prob with the car is that the clutch, center console, and seat are so squeaky, it's seriously irritating. I want to fix those issues asap.
Looking for some Silver Spruce inspiration too. Seems like there's alot of dead links on here.

Congrats, that looks like a real keeper!!!!!!! How many miles on her??? As for the clutch, that's a simple lubrication problem, look under the dash and grease the linkage.

Gorgeous! Makes me rather envious as my '92 manual isn't nearly as clean...

Your car is in beautiful shape, Luxurious! Very clean!
Joe, for 1992-1994 original SC300 5-speeds (and any SC with an early style top-loader R154 that has an OEM Soarer R154 extension housing) you can use the SupraSport V3 short shifter which is still in production. It was originally designed for the MKIII Supra but it does work in pre-1995 SC300 5-speeds which do not use "tripod" shifters from the factory. It works fine with our OEM 5-speed shifter bezels. It's a true bolt-in replacement shifter assembly, not a thing that bolts onto your stock 5-speed shifter.

Luxurious, I paid $300 or so for mine so yes that's consistent on price. It's a direct copy of the old now long discontinued C's short shifter for 91-93 R154 Soarers with some very minor improvements. I've been using mine for years now in my daily driven SC with an R154 using the OEM Soarer extension housing and I've never looked back. Exact same fitment and throws apply for any 92-94 SC300 5-speed with the factory W58 setup since they both have the same shifter mounting area.
I made a post in my own thread or someone else's thread years back with pictures showing each throw on the V3 shifter in the SC. I'd have to locate that link as it's been a long time.
I read about the Cube short shifter some years back but I didn't like that it bolted onto the stock shifter assembly whereas a vintage C's short shifter or the SS V3 outright replaced it. I never tried the Cube so I can't offer any opinion and comparison between the two, sorry.
Compared to the stock SC3 W58 shifter the V3's throws are definitely shorter and more fun without sacrificing anything.

I don't know how to multi-quote everyone but thanks everyone for the nice messages.
Kahn, I might pickup that shifter based on your thoughts about it, maybe later!
I'm in Mt. Prospect area. Are you the guy with the green sc300? I've seen pictures of that car, if it's yours, all the time but never knew the owner lol.

Are you talking about the green 97 5spd SC with the fujin front lip, NA-T setup, and Work wheels? If that's what you're talking about then I know the guy and he's got a SUPER clean car.
